    Hi Mark
Your right, I was guessing on a best case scenario theoretical figures from whereis, driving conservatively, a bit of hope & luck etc. I know it would cost more than that. Either way I don't know if I could justify spending over $1000 each way for a road trip, then spending money while there, then goodies I would buy, possible brake down etc

Saying that if I took my Falcon wagon, (on lpg) and three other landy folk to share costs it might be a whole different story

    Another possibility?

    G'day,

With a third airline about to start up later this year, Tiger I think, I'm betting there will be some good flight deals to be had. Even from the west. So, if on your own, you could fly to Melb, Canb or Syd and perhaps hook up with someone from here. If you have a few mates from there, fly and hire a car.

    Cheers.

Well If people are flying to Canberra I'm certain we could organise transport to Cooma.
