mate, I would love too but I don't know if my poor old Rangie would make it to NSW & back !
Now if someone would lend me a new disco, or rangie sport I would oblige.
Wonder if anyone else is planning a trip over there from WA??
Maybe i could just push my Rangie or get a tow![]()
I would lend you the D3 but I need it for work...........................
Take a RRS or D3 for a test drive, Southern or Barbegello, just tell them you want to make sure it is as good as the reports say and you will be gone for a while.................a long while![]()

hmmm I was thinking about thinking about going next year but i just done the maths on the cost of fuel; about $8-900 give or take.
Looks like I'll have to look at pics the east coasters take.![]()
I know its off topic and probaly a bit early, but anyone know if LRA has anything planned? Special edition? Special deals?
When is the 60th Anniversary? Im sure it wouldn't be hard to rustle up some WA celebration.
Count me in.

oops you said when not where, next year about april I think
went Perth to Melbourne and back in my rodeo ute this Christmas average of 26 to 30mpg, averaging 110 kph, fuelled up every 500 to 600kms depending on spread of fuel stations, at average cost of $1.30, fuel at WA/SA border region was in excess of $1.50. Trip takes 3 days so need to factor in another $100 day for meals and accommodation on top of fuel. Each way cost me around $1,000, so l think your estimates need revising as l am not aware of any Land Rover Petrol V8 motor capable of achieving the mileage required to only spend your $900 fuel guess
