Cool rig. Good to see a few rovers mix it up with all the GQ's.

My mates car is being transformed at the end of the year to -
    110 county/series 3
    110 chassis
    350 chev
    80 Series diffs
    Prob GQ box and transfer.

    And its Australian built

    mmm my thoughts too.
I recon they will go Maxi drive shafts and Ashcroft rings and pinions Say a 4.11 as Simon Buck likes those
But i did surgest a set of Nissan axles , but that did not go down well. Can't see why , most of the outback rangies are running nissan axels now

I think the problem with that is why not just buy a GQ!

That's a difficult debate isn't it. Do I whack Jap axles and diffs in it and have fun thrashing the thing or do i stay with Rover and enjoy knowing I did it with the real thing.

I know when I lie awake at night thinking about the OBC I turn that one over in my head as my fantasy rangey ute rips it up the nissans!

Sadly I am just a wannabe and don't know what I'm talking about!

well as i came form the Uk where i was entering all the winch challenges around. And (not being too big headed) was doing pretty well at it. I am going to do the OBC
BUT i am going to go and watch it first and then do it.
The disco we have just bought was bougth with the veiw of a family car for a year and then is going to be hacked about and made into a disco ute with nissan axels and then i will be doing the OBC in it . A couple of years from now.
