Do you think? There have been a couple of heated threads recently that were conducted with enormous civility and consideration. The nuclear thread springs to mind.

I can recall at least two, possibly three rounds of inflammatory threads over the past couple of years that weren't nearly so polite.

I think just about everyone is working very hard to keep the forum from flame wars.

And I reckon we're doing a pretty good job of it too.

Maybe you should have waited for the next post. The site is very good but only Inc is really doing a very good job in that respect.

i dont do anything in the gclro areas... i usually ask outlaw to act if i see anything i dont like, and i usually dont read most of the gclro areas anyway even tho i can.

outlaw is more liberal than i, phoenix more harsh, i picked them for that very reason, two extremes and middle of the road (me) as i saw it...that way any group debate on a subject gets a hearing from both of the spectrum.

I understand how tricky a job it is as I have done it before on an American site as a Mod with text, voice and Cam. I would not bother doing it again as it can fill in to much time and it's a hard decision making job. But it must be done.
