Bullbars in Victoria

A bull bar can be used for moving slow moving stock without damaging the front of you 4wd as well as protecting you and your 4wd from a roo strike or other animal.

No one ever sugested that you could hit a bull at a 100km/h and get out of it with no damage or even survive.

There is a really good way to stop people from driving without a license or in unregoed cars (which are more likely to be 2wd for that matter) is to dob them in and do it again and again with proof they are doing it.

The Sheriff will then come around after they havnt paid the fines and start taking stuff like furnature, computers, entertainment equipment and white goods to sell in place of them paying fines.

I know this as it happend to a cousin I used to live with and it was all my stuff they took but it doesnt matter to them and you have not a chance in the world to get it back.

They told me to sue him for what it was worth.

By the way,

I also don't believe in paying to goto parts of our country which I was born in as well as having to pay to get there in the first place when no facilities are provided.

But if there are facilities provided then Im happy to pay.

While in Toolangy 1 weekend we camped at a campsite where there were toilets and washing up facilities but no water for washing up and even the dog wouldnt go into the toilet as well as there was no firewood for about 3kms and that had to be cut from a logging area.

Also when touring around Alice Springs we went to a few of the gorges and a couple of them were run by the how do I put it, well tanned australians which were very well looked after with well maintained tracks and one of them even had a kiosk that after walking though gorges all day and needed more water and food was well recieved.

But airs rock was a big disapointment as it was well over priced and too many rules and regulations that to me was degrading to anyone who was not part of the Aboriginal culture.

Fine they were here first but I think we have been here for long enough by now to be not giving them money for nothing.

If they wnat to do something and be paid for it thats fine but to just sit on their respective Asses no matter what colour our skin is or how big your government organisation is doesnt deserve payment.

Vent at the ballot box! Contact your local member and any opposition candidates and put them on notice.
Sure, elections are a while away in most states/territories but you lucky folks in NSW can gagg Scruby and the anti-funbar lobby for good! Remember, we don't vote for a Gov't, we vote for a local member to represent us and our interests. Contact them and get their leaning on the subject in writing.

Yes maybe one can't make a difference but the will of the many...yada yada yada....

This is what I mean, what difference would it make hitting a pedestrian with a standard bumper on a defender or a bullbar.
The difference is less damage to the defender with a bullbar.
Does it mean I could cut the uprights off the TJM and have it repowder coated and they wont pick on me?
I have sent Emails and letters to local members before regarding Fire prevention and grazing rights and all I have got in return is Thankyou for your letter and we will pass it on blah blah blah.
The only thing that counts is a protest that either peeves people off and wakes them up to the issues or peeves people off and makes things worse for every one of us.

polling day is the only way to send a protest
most of these political turkeys all tow the party line and are too scared to wander away from the fine $ line
so yes you can call them send letters or emails the end result will be you lost $
just bring on polling day and dont be a one party voter try being a swinging voter they hate that :angel:

I'm no more racist than most Aussies (that means I probably am racist!) but I don't think that was called for.

In this case, they provided a well looked after area and tracks so they deserve better than that. There is no reason why that couldn't have been written as "indigenous Australians" or even "local aboriginals".

Sorry if I've offended anyone.

Oh, I object to paying to visit our country and the need for permits.

Ron no matter what you call them some one will take offense and that is my point.
Indigeones Australians, Local Aboriginals or what ever they want to call them you got the point dont have a go at me because I didnt know what that specific group of australians wanted to be called as I didnt ask them.
I made an informed objective remark and you got a racist remark out of it, so that makes you the problem not me.

I have a Philpino stepmother and step sister,
A Lebonese Uncle and 2 cousins,
A Srilankin Brother
My grand Father was German and Grandmother was Swiss
I have many Aboriginal freinds as well as Vietnamese and Chinese,
My cousin has just married a Japanese girl and another cousin is about to marry a Pom.

I treat all of them the same and the well tanned comment came from my brother who when people looked at us strangely he would just say he had a really good tan and 2 of my Aboriginal mates from Nth Qld use the same comment to this day.
