Sad thing is, we find these really funny because they don't actually happen in real life!

When my grandparents got their first automatic washing machine, my grandad locked himself in the laundry and barricaded the door so he could play with the machine by himself. Grandma could be heard half way down the street!

    What NM said...

I read lots of books (1 - 3 per week). She reads very little. My spelling and grammar are far superior to hers!

    It gets worse.

I got home last night to an empty house (sounds good in theory). Put a load of washing on and then made tea. Then had to go and pick her up from the hospital (had walked in to visit a friend, didn't want to walk home again). Then after we got home and had tea, got roped into hanging the washing out!

Sometimes I don't know why I keep her around!
