    ARMY dudes

    Hi Guys
There was an Army convoy in town this arvo,110 Defender softtop TD5 leading the show.
2 low loaders with those teleporter handlers(all camo) the farmers are all into these days then another 3 low loaders loaded with logs.
Decided to stir them up,told them if they parked the Defender over in the depot carpark next to my Disco they could have the logs without me dobbing them into CALM.
Just wish my mobile had a camera!!!
    Nice bunch of blokes.

Most mornings I get to see the boys driving the unimogs around Heidelberg.

Heidelberg????? Yeah theres a barracks over the way there....they do driver training. If I stick a thumb out the window I usually get a wave.

    Awesome vehicles the unimogs.
    Cheers

I get to play with Mogs most Tuesday nights....and one weekend a month.

They are intersting to drive - 8 speed box, very top heavy, not much articulation, but can carry a hell of a load.

Reminds me of a line some blokes used to use up in Townsville when trying it on in the pub , to the effect that they drove a Mercedes with a rag top. Of course, they were talking about a Unimog....
