Picture detail is a little difficult, but the lack of headlight openings in the radiator panel (there is no grille) suggests it is either a late 2a with headlights in the guards (and hence not army - their late ones kept the lights in the radiator panel) or it is a S3, although I could not see enough detail to identify either the windscreen hinges or the heater inlet which would tell which. If it is a S3 the colour suggests an ex army one - that colour was unusual in civilian S3s, although it was available - I think.
