    Sprung Harry M years ago in William Street in Sydney early one sunday morning - driving a 1970 model Ford Escort - he said he was 'getting the Sunday papers'....

    Was apparently easy to drive and it had 'parked-in' his fleet......

    ... but only if that is okay with the new owner of these fine british motors, of course

    geez, he might bring his agent, who drives a 1970 Escort (and its not even the Mexico Rally version... bathroom blue form my distant memory ).

    i am pleased for Fen, lotsa good stuff there, just pleased to be the conduit, i think a small spotters fee should go to AULRO, just to keep us all going, and fen wil no doubt bring some lubricant on the the day of recovery of these two Landys

    Geez, you want press coverage, spotters fee, AULRO donation and lubrication
    I'm not that kind of enthusiast

    More than happy to abide with all of the above as:
    Press: No such thing as bad publicity - so Michael jackson told me
    Spotters Fee: of course, happy for the help Quiggers
    AULRO donation: always a good idea, and wouldn't have got em without it
    Lubrication: You can never have enough

    Well, apparently they are gone and not to my place.
    Had arranged a truck, a day off and everything else.
    Got a vociemail yesterday arvo 17:30, which I only saw this morning from the seller.....
    "mate, I don't know what's happened, but the landies are gone, the boys on the property said, someone from the forum came and picked em up. I don't want to jerk you around, but I don't know what's going on, call me back."

    I have left a message for him to call me.

    I hope he hasn't done the dirty on me, pretty sure that's not the case.
