Ok i think i may have FINALLY talked my brother into a GOOD carhe is lookin at a Diso 300Tdi Auto any year in a 300tdi. Is there anything we should look at when buying a older model Disco ?? any info about any problems with one of these vehicles would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a decent one about in tas at the moment. I haven't dreamt (Err I mean looked) for a while.
Rust in the alpine windows is one particular one to watch for, as well as rust in the boot area under the carpet from leaking wondows, otherwise mostly the usual stuff. If you want more detail i've got a great LROI article on buying a Disco that I coulod scan for you, it's quite good, even deals with the test drive.

If it runs hot it already has a problemhave a look in the "Hells Bells" postings, and at the post with link that Deejay put up and you will see some disco prices that are better than in Tas, would even possibly get an AULRO member to look one over for you
