you are welcome to stay the night if you want/need etc etc etc
for those from outer northside and above how about meeting area 1 at the bp's at morayfield, southbound side about 8:45, then meeting area 2 at the shell at nudgee at 9:15 then proceed down to exit 73 at nerang or do we need a meeting area 3 on the southside round springwood or ? earlier or later ?
Thanks Pedro, wish you could make it but it is short notice.
If you can’t, Harry and I did a recce last weekend to Duck Creek and reckon we may have another one in a different location that could serve as a similar type of easy run, so next time we will give a lot more notice.
BTW, it’s my fault that there has been such a short notice time.
There is more info to come on what's planned for our stop at Darlington park and I’ll post more details early next week. We will be getting everybody involved in some nifty but simple training driving.
As posted above, all you need is a street legal landy and NO off road skills but hopefully, by the end of the day you will know a bit more about handling you landy.
Cheers.
'whoa, looks we've got a convoy, slip the microbus in front of the?,'
memory blank.
welcome aboard all you lot see you there. this is an easy day, bring the family, if it's hot swimmers might be in order at the park.
if it rains bring gumboots,
only kidding.
tim has excelled in the directions post, i might show you some side track tricks, but all vehicles will be capable of everything on the day, we intend to assist new drivers, not beat them, we will help newcomers through all aspects of the tracks and follow up on their experiences.
"bump"
and count us in!:D
Good to hear Pedro.
I’ll post a bit more info on Thursday night regarding CB channels and such.
See all of you there on Sunday.
Cheers.
OK folks, CB channel, 33 will be used on Sunday for the Duck Creek Run so call up on that channel if you can’t find the meeting location.
All you Brisbanites, you will have no trouble reaching us from the freeway as you pass through Nerang.
Exit 73 is on the southside of Nerang, just after the M1 shrinks to 2 lanes.
If you miss the exit, just go another km down the M1 and there is another exit and overpass, so you can come back and try again  :D :D :D
Cheers
