Yes - Thanks to Tim, Harry and Outlaw for organising a top day out - it was great to meet some AULOvians offline, brilliant to have a few rides in Grizzly's Defender, and the biggest highlight for me was to see so many Landies in the same place at the same time. Half my 626 is in the boot, but Kat and I had fun!

disco drivers are conservative and have the good sense to not rush in and waste resources, we allowed you def and game people to probe the terrain and forge new access routes for us without us having to destroy natural flora, rock formations, and animal habitat.
once the above has happened, then ok thanks for that lets use it.

anyway, i don't have the ground clearance or a diff lock.
very good effort to all the def's good trucks, real land rovers.

Grizzly - You made my day, mate - it was almost a religious experience! That 110 of yours is one glorious truck, a real credit to you.

And don’t forget us Range Rovers.

Had no problems getting up and over, mind you, for the benefit of these not fortunate enough to have come along, it wasn’t MY RR that got up and over.

Now, could all those who were lucky enough to come along please send me a PM with your rego number and site handle.

I made a list of all the vehicles and their rego numbers but didn’t get around to putting owner’s handles to the their vehicles.

Cheers and thanks to all for making for a great day and I will start work on the next Social Drive Day as soon as I have a date.

how could we forget the RR's?
one of which ran the creek with very little effort
    and one didnt.

Di and I had a great time, played with hill decent, and yes, it does work in reverse!! bit of a heart stopper for a millisecond till it kicks in---, grounded all the bits you'd expect a standard D2 to ground but TC is everything they say it is and more, every where Harry went wheelspinning(as Harry does) this thing just walked up, then tried it with CDL in on an angled ascent, stopped halfway up, turned fulllock up hill and it continued to just walk up the slope. very impressed.
maybe the vids will talk Mrs Pedro into a front bullbar

    Thanks to everyone at GCLRO
