Had a great day, a pity I was the only one to attempt the creek crossing that didn't make it, but it was great to see all the others show me how it should be done. Thanks Drivesafe for organising a great day, (all those reccies must have paid off) and thanks Harry for riding tail end Charlie and picking up the bits off my Landie as I drove down the road.

    Cheers, Mick.

Okay everyone i've created a Gallery to upload your pics into here

I only a few photos unfortunately... i have a nice little camera i bought in japan that has 2 buttons at the top... press left to take photo, press right to take video... i really need to press the left button a lot more than the right one

We did have around 15 vehicles though and had them lined up a few times so assuming someone will have a pic of them all

My thanks also to Tim, Harry and anyone else who had a hand in organising the afternoon/evening. It was an excellent opportunity to meet some of you and put faces to names. Adam and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to the next one.

    PM on the way Tim.

Here’s a few more pics, just to wet your appetites for the next GCLRO Club Social Run.

The day began at Nerang at the first meeting point.

By the time we were ready to leave Canungra, the ranks had grown to 17 ( 16 genuine LRs and one Fantom LR )

This was our first official stop, where anybody wishing to try some mild off roading could have a go.

A short stop at the bottom of the Range

At last, just some of us where we stopped for our BBQ.

All the action is on video and when I get some time I’ll post a short flick.

Cheers and see you all at the next run.
