    the fender is back home

picked my fender up from MR this arfo... was in for gearbox rebuild, clutch kit, cross drilled transfer gear and bearings, refaced flywheel, rear crank seal, rear transfer case seal and a couple of other minor things....

major difference to the way vehicle drives. most of the driveline slop gone, and the gearbox feels tight again.

gearbox mainshaft was past half way worn with the outer edges of the spline rounded as well, definetly didnt have much life left... will add a pic when i can get some time.

still need to do rear wheel bearings, front diff pinion seal, rear axles and plates, front springs and shockers..

anyone with std front springs and shockers or std rear axles in good nick they no longer want, feel free to contact me :P

got the auto in the disco serviced as well today at a local mech i do a little work for from time to time, so my wallet is sulking in the corner slowly crying itself to sleep to the tune of ... 3710 little green notes hanging on the .....

Just pulled some 24 spline rear axles from a 110....in good nick.

I replace mine with maxi drives, just as a matter of course.

Do you want flanges as well?
    Cheers

I'm sure once the initial pain is gone, you'll still be enjoying the slick racecar gearshift. (cough!). But seriously, having an easy to operate gearbox makes life so much nicer.
