I'd love a low reving TDV8 with anywhere between 150kw to 200kw. Ecomony should not be to bad, being a diesel.

I'll be ready for a new Defender in 2013 so I'll be interested in any design drawings or models as the become avaialble over the next few years. I could always go the current version but I am sad about the loss of vents and still grieving over that. I'm also wondering why they put in a 2.4 Duratorq when they could have put in a 2.7?

I had that shape Rodeo in a 4wd model. It was very slightly over 5m long with an ARB winch bar (only paid for 5m vehicle on Spirit of Tassie )

My Disco is about half a metre shorter than the Rodeo. However people comment on the big Disco and the little Rodeo.

If you had to put it into a short garage the tyre would make more than half the difference. My old 2A had no bullbar and no tyre on the back and fitted in my garage, but my Defender with ARB bar and Kaymar tyre carrier will not unless I cut some of my bench away.
But Land Rovers do not belong in garages, outdoors is fine, although I'm looking outside and it's raining, so I'll bet wet floor.
