Thread: wheres austral brisbane gone???

I rang them last week so maybe they just moved.

However I rang them after ringing Southside LR to be told that Southside don't do LR anymore and haven't done so for 18 months. Even though they are still in the phonebook and their website is still up.

where did southside used to be? i get blue ribbon at ipswich to do the stuff i cant do they used to be a dealer and are great to deal with. good blokes who drive lr themselves

Do you mean servicing? Reason being is that they definately still sell LR's as was there a couple of weeks ago and there were at least 20 odd D3's, RRS, and D2's.

Austral is still around as well, though they as thought moved to corner of 773 Ann and Morgan Street, Fortitude Valley,

I mean spare parts. When I was after an intake manifold gasket they told me they don't do LR anymore and gave me Austral's number.
How can a place sell the vehicles but not the parts?

Southside are on Logan Rd, Mt Gravatt.

No idea. I've never used them before and after the price Austral quoted for an intake manifold gasket I won't waste my time again. Especially when they didn't have any of the rubbers required in Australia anyway.

From memory they are the same company, or fall under a group of companies with various different dealerships,
