They are one and the same company. Austral are the only spare parts dealer for these companies and are at Evelyn St Newstead.

Austral have moved to a tiny, blink and you'll miss it, boutique backstreet showroom in the Valley; to be closer to their target customers the Latte set?

Austral had a landmark spot, or Mecca as someone above said, for the LR faithful. Can't imagine why they would want to lose that prominence and can only assume the new location will be shortlived to leave only one dealer to serve Brisbane.

Southside have a good stock of RR Sports, top spec D3's and Volvo's but are a big hike out of town at Mt Gravatt.

Salespeople at either are not keen on discussing a Land Rover for off road use. The LR target market "does not usually go off road Sir" seems to be the attitude.

Curiously the now single Brisbane spares department is nowhere near either of these places and remains at Newstead.

The whole experience is not getting any better. New Defender or not, I think I'm nearing the end of my Land Rover relationship.
