    New sport

Sorry couldn't get photo's but I have discovered a new sport.
Cutting a tree down this morning the darn thing wouldn't fall the direction I wanted. Even had it tied off and a load strap tentioned to the max to help nudge it.
    Did it work? NO!
Damned thing came after me forcing me to jump from the ladder and run. Missed me but did take the ladder out.

I know of a guy who has recently survived this with the only injury being a broken neck.

Edd you are very bloody lucky, ever wonder why these things are called widow makers?

Thas what a winch is for , tie it to the top and winch it over towards the way you want it to go. Easy

I hate pine trees, power line corners, and unreliable bloody MacCulloch chainsaws.

    RUN AWAY Shorty, RUN AWAY.

I only ripped the crotch out of my jeans, as the chain spun off, when the tree lurched the wrong way. But it totalled the Ford front end loader.

    Shorty.
