    Hobart to Townsville

    Ok folks

    In reference to http://www.aulro.com/afvb/showthread.php't=36323&page=2

    Mrs Possum n I are off to Townsville to live!

    We are on the boat outta Tassie on Sunday the 20th of May 2007.

    Plan of attack is melbourne to goulburn Monday.

    Goulburn to Pt McQuarie Tuesday.

    Pt McQuarie to GC (Merrimac) Wednesday.

    GC (Merrimac) to Rocky Thursday.

    Rocky to Townsville Friday.

    I've been in touch with one of our Townsville contributors so at least there is one person up there I know is silly enuff to own a Landy

    I'll let you all know how it goes. In the mean time is there anyone who wants a nice 3 Br house in Rosny with a magnificent view????

    No that's a good autumn temperature in Hobart. It means that in 2 hours it will be 20C, overnight will be -5C, tomorrow will be 15C and on Tuesday it will snow

    I reckon Tassie has the most varied weather of anywhere I've lived. But the air is clean and fresh. Also if you even mention the word HUMID they all start keeling over!

    Nah Pedro, Its degrees People thing I've developed a stutter but I'm just usually freezin.


    Australia day long weekend we went up to the Central Highlands. At one stage the beer in the fridge was 6 degrees below the outside ambient. The beer being 1 degree. The water in the canal was steamin because it was WARMER than the air temp



    Just for good measure here is another pic taken from the front balcony in mid winter. Snow down to the waterline
