Nice clip, but does anybody know anymore about the trailer? What sort of hitch does it use etc? I bet if they even exist in Oz they are rarer than hens teeth.

From what little I know, the trailer is rigged via the pto and a uni to the trailer diff, this type of trailer would work with any vehicle which has a rear pto. but like the crank handle, the pto has almost disappeared....on newer vehicles....
making a powered trailer would not be difficult, finding the pto vehicle may be more problematic

Woulden't you need to mess around with ratios so the trailer wheels spin at the same speed as the towing car, or are most PTOs set to a standard speed?

G'day All, Post number 4 answered the question re the powered trailer, the set up was made by a company called Rubery Owen in the UK and one of these prototypes is running around cairns FNQ with the powered trailer, so all you people who frequent that part of the world you should keep an eye out for it and it's stable mate a Series 2A lightweight cheers Dennis
