We held a funeral for him this afternoon, took down flowers to his grave and all said what he meant to us. My 4 yr old doesnt quite understand, asking when he was coming back :( . With my older 2, when we lost the first one we told them she went away to a farm, couldnt get away with it this time and I wont forget the looks on their faces as they said goodbye, but reminded them to keep him in our memory. All in all just a very sad time, but helps with the support and thoughts of people on here and at home, thanks again,
Regards
Stevo
Our sympathies go out to you Steve and Family, as my Wife and I have had the onerous task of intering several of our dogs over the years and it is never easy particularly when the daughter was young, we have only lost one to a motor vehicle and that was in front of our then 4 year old, she has never forgotten :(
Rest in Peace Benzy.

Jeez, sorry to hear about Benzy Stevo, very moving tribute to him indeed and sympathies to the family as well - never easy and know how you feel. Will never forget the day our dog Shiela left us when we were kids and then when our collie Harvey had to go just a few years ago.........often taken for granted what an animal means to another man but the hurt of a loss is still the same.
Thinking of you and the family and will catch up soon.
Mick, Ems and the boys.
Sorry to here about that Stevo, I know the feeling as I lost one of my closest family members last year to cancer. Loosing one of my dogs would be just as painful and it saddens me to here this news about a fellow friends best friend.
All I can say is the pain will slowly go in time, as time dose heal all wounds.
Just remember the good times mate.
Loaded. :(
Heya buddy, really don't know what to say as i wish the day will never come with my 2... and really hard to see the keyboard at the moment.
I'll have a drink or 3 for Benzy tonight
so sorry to hear of your loss, bit teary myself and i do feel for you and your family.
as most have said our pets are part of our lives and will not be forgotten.
my sympathies Stevo,,
a dog that will be missed that much, must have had a good life,,
and thats about the best we can do.
geez mate - at least he knew his mate was there when he went.......
we think of then as our mates, but i recon if they could talk they would say we are the bestest mates ever.
Stevo - lost for words mate....
I have been through the same emotions with dogs before and it will hurt for some time to come, but hang in there and remember the good times!
Our thoughts are with you
