The old one is between 7.2 & 9Ah. Standard size. High rate batteries as you'd get in a tool are generally ~7.2Ah.

I had a win yesterday! I went to the Sydney Super Swap Meet yesterday - good if you wanted old Holden or Ford parts. On my way out I saw a table with this on it:
