The money wasted by people on fixing up useless cats and dogs never ceases to amaze me. I would have thought the guide dog people had enough to do with their money than waste it on something with problems maybe stemming from bad breeding.
I hope this isn't one of those organsisations always crying out for more donations for what is a very good cause, if they're going to chuck it away like this.

They will be giving her physiotherapy.
No wonder she kept biting everyone.

What private owners pay for Vet services and what Guide Dogs Aust would pay are too different things, also they would have their own in house vet in major cities, and or they would take the animal to the University Veterinary School and let the trainee vets work on them, just like the council pounds let their strays/surrendered animals be used for veterinary science

I only shook his hand, I swear.

    In the past few weeks-
    Lightbulbs that won't light
    UPSes that won't supply power
    RAM that won't boot
Indicator cover for the cursed VW - supplier sent me wrong year model, and crossed off the incorrect dates on the invoice so I wouldn't notice.
Brake pads that won't fit, twice, I did it once, mechanic the second time.

last week I bought and installed a ceiling fan for the master bedroom. It seems to be faulty in that it randomly buzzes.

It was my fault. *I touched the box instead of letting the salesgirl get it out from the pile on the floor.

The supplier will only warrant fans installed by a qualified electrician - the warranty claim requires all the eleccie's details.

Pick one out of the phone book or just make up one.

It seems it's not the fan but the remote control receiver. It buzzes even when switched off. I wonder if it's control tones over the mains.

Oh, BTW, we should get the faulty dog back from Guide Dogs on Thursday. They've operated on the other rear leg and will remove the pin tomorrow,

And I was hoping for a quiet Xmas.
