Alarm clocks have a high mortality rate at my place. Idealy I'm looking for one that bounces.
Pointless in spending good money on quality, they all end up the same condition after flying through the air at "ohh my god 'O clock".

Never needed an alarm clock - I wake up a few minutes before I need to seemingly no matter what time I actually need to get up. I still set one but haven’t had it go off for years as I’m always up before it. Usual wake up time is 5.30 so on a weekend I go back to sleep for a lie in and get up in the middle of the day at 7...
I have a beach theme under my pergola and part of it is "beach time" alongside a clock of which I have had to replace 3 times already.
Seems clocks dont work under my pergola.

We have a digital alarm clock that would be over 30yrs old,and its still going.
Just use it to look at for time, but don't use it as an alarm anymore,we use one of our phones.

Reminds me, I bought a little SANYO digital clock on my first 'BIG OS' trip from the Singapore Airport "Tin Shed" (who remember that joint? No amazing Terminal Building back then.
Seemed to be right on the Apron with Air side equipment zooming past.
. Needs a coin battery about every 2 years but it goes & goes & goes.
The airport buses picked you up just outside the door & took you to your waiting aircraft all over the Changi "Airfield", as it was then. (a DC10 in my case) One of the big selling items was a multitude of little automaton dolls all banging tiny cymbals What a ****ing racket! [biggrin]
S'funny, I can still smell the perfume of the tropics mixed with Jet exhaust fumes even today when we visit Ad. International on a warm, not hot, humid evening.. A heady mix as they say. That was in 1977 so 43 years it has been going..
Ah. happy days.
Who uses an alarm clock any more??
How about using your phone alarm?
At 0300 if the alarm was not supposed to go off, but did, he would probably throw it across the room & smash it to little pieces on the opposite wall.
I realise some have tried & never succeeded, but one day it will happen, Screen Protector or not. [biggrin][biggrin]
