I found a new version of faulty last week. I wanted to move the car trailer with boss womens car .... she had a 7pin roudn ,.. trailer is 7pin flat.... I had a new 7pin round in the shed, so I chucked the new alluminium 7 pin round plug onto the trailer ....... and had no lights ... hmmmm... So I went aroudn and around and around in circles for 15minutes tearing my hair out .... before I realised the trailer control module in the cars boot wasn't clicking like it should.... what the hell ?? the trailer lights were working on this car last week.

I spent quite some time scratching my head and trying to work out what was going on .... eventually I pulled apart another 7pin round plug and found the new alluminium plug that had the pin out cast into both halves of the casing ..... was labelled incorrectly. it had about half the pins miss-labelled. I had the earth wired into one of the indicators so have probably blown up the trailer control moduel in the cars boot .... sigh. I never thought to check for that one.

The 7pin flats are cheap as chips these days ( five delivered for 16bucks). So I've just purchased a bunch of 7pin flag plugs and sockets .... I'm going to convert everything in the yard over to this ( much better ) standard so I don't have this issue again.

My snoz (the hooter is at the other end and far enough away from the snoz it doesn’t contaminate the air going into the it (except after violent eruptions)) gets the suburban crap cleaned out on the weekends by the fresh country smell of animal manure so no contamination
The locals in CI say it’s the smell of phosphate dust in the air that helps the mould grow and that’s apparently what the crabs taste of

Well, I'll be buggered. Still mining Phosphate there? I thought that was olde stuff & had ceased everywhere because it made the local crabs taste of Bird ****.

The other day I discovered that my antivirus on my tablet which I pay about $100 a year for was nearly 3 years out of date, you'd think they'd send me an email saying that it hadn't downloaded any upgrades, patches, threat definitions, etc!

I've been thinking how the banks have sold us a pup with ATM's, in the good old days, when I went to the bank and withdrew money I could ask for whatever denominations I wanted, now we just get whatever the machine spits out. I've noticed my big blue bank's machines now try to spit out as many $50 notes as possible, whereas before multiples of anything else (evens obviously) came in $20 notes. I have a suspicion this is driven by greed, sorry efficiency to give it another name.

The other day my 2.4 GHz TV repeater packed up (used to view TV in the bedroom without the hassle of running cables), so I thought I'd use my newer 5.8GHz repeater that I'd bought years ago for just such an occasion, only to find it didn't work at all, so I had to go out and buy another new one of the same brand, it has been updated maybe due to this sort of fault and I'm happy to say it works even better than the old one. I couldn't claim warranty on the other as it a few years old, even if it was unused except for the power pack that I'd used to fix the old one as I noticed it was cold when I went to unplug it.

    Is your middle name Ron?

Personally I've never had much chop with those Extenders for some unknown reason but it doesn't matter these days since the main Modem has been relocated.

And if you are not carefull, you will pay extra for the convenience of not going to a teller at the bank.
That is if you can find the correct bank, they seem to be disappearing

Since my mother decided to depart the earth,I have had a few to many dealings with Westpac, they are an absolute PITA.

Went to sort some stuff of hers at CBA today,it was like a breath of fresh air.
They were actually helpfull and sorted everything out with little notice, all done and dusted.

Try that with Westpac,no hope, they won’t even return a call after leaving a message to arrange an appointment.
Without an appointment, turn up at a branch wanting something and you will have no hope of getting anything sorted.
    Hopeless.

Oh well, that’s my rant done for today….

Most ATMs only have the capability to be fitted with two different cassettes, so you could have 5s and 10s or 10s and 20s or what most have, 50s and 20s. I dunno why they don't ever put 100s in ATMs, customer demand I guess, although they are pulling out lots of ATMs now that most people don't use cash.
