Wow. Hope she heals fine. Let her know we are all sending get weel messages.
And I thought Lauchlan's head wound was scarey at first.

Sorry to hear, hope it all heals well. That kind of story just ties my guts in a knot.

Had my daughter waiting for two days on paediatric plastic surgeon when she bit through her lip. Hurt me much more than it did her.

    Cheers
    Simon.

Glad to see it will mend up OK, I have no liking for children to be hurt, yes it will become a memory for her and the pain will go, but your memory of it will probably remain strong and emotional.

Thanks to all for the well wishes, it has taken up till this morning for me to be able to talk about it without bursting into tears, my parents were wrecks as well as having 4 sons they have seen their fair share of injuries between us.
Wife has taken it the worst i think as she had to stay at the hospital while i travelled between PI -hosp-home numerous times with our 6 week old who lucky for us is such a quiet little angel and didnt give us any trouble at all.

I'm having nightmares of flashbacks of when i saw her hand and everytime i think about it i shiver and my hand starts twitching - was right hand and almost the same age as when i did a similar injury to my right hand except i had tendon damage.

Best thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery go to your daughter. She is back now, in an obviously loving environment, home with mum and dad.
