    1998 Defender 300tdi

    I have just come across a 300tdi with 200k on the clock. It has problems with pressure build up in reserve tank from start up (? head gasket).
    Body is in reasonable condition, aircon, snorkel and aluminum side steps.

    What would it be worth with engine problems ???

    I would factor in new head as well as gasket along with timing belt and other cooling system parts plus an approx. labour cost and take that away from the average going price for a 98 fender. I have seen quite reasonable ones for around the 12- 13k mark.

    Yep... It'd be worth it as long as you were suitably compensated for the agro.
