Between 2004 and 2006 LR was only bringing out the 90s in black and yellow, the cost was the same as a 130. Who wants to pay the same as a 130 for a two door? If anything the 90 should have been cheaper than the 110. At cooma in 1998 there was only two 90s there. One private, that was a 110 cut down onto a 90 chassie, and another that the army had as a computer diagdostice test car. I know I spelt that wrong!

That friend of mine has had the rear seats installed without problem and it's all complianced and legal. I presume it was a cost saving measure.
I absolutely love 90's. If I didn't have kids I'd have one in a flash. :)
The rear seats are not ilegal. The extremes have them We had them in our 90 , untill we took them out. But in Aus they are only legal for Children up to about 11 and not for adults. So they might as well be two seaters:)Quote:

Another possibility is that the rear seats (which we must admit are rather basic) did not fit in with the image they were selling to here - an upmarket suburban shopping trolley. (This is what they were aiming for, not necessarily the people who bought them)

Reads you talk of only know 9 import 90s in brisbane, i might be able to add another two to your list.
i spotted a green 90 county in the gap a while back, and i had a good chat with a young bloke driving a white county whos dad imported one, decked it out with air bags and used it for hauling chopped wood.
