    Hi Dave,
Sorry to be ANOTHER one that can be of no assistance with labour, ( body is wracked with ex-military injuries )...++++ we are expecting our First child within the next 2 weeks, been a rolercoaster pregnancy..........would have been nice to welcome you to Sunny Qld in person, rather than on the end of a Keyboard. Maybe sometime in the future,

    Cheers,

    Pug.

    Dave,
my utmost apologies, i have fallen foul of the, thats a great plan , now lets see some b....d come along and stuff it up.
In a nutshell, wife is working night shift friday and saturday night, gets home usually late in the morning, no 1 son working on saturday, so i have to drive him in, as wife is usually too tired or asleeep, but he finishes at 3pm so I go and pick him up.
Wouldn't be a problem if we lived in town.

I'll await your next request, perhaps helping unpack, or whatever.

I'll see you there. Although not pre 0700

I'll byo shovel and whatever hand tools I have at home. Sounds like they might come in handy. Most of my stuff is at work though and lucky me isn't there

As for living that close to the base, do you walk to work or is the entrance on the other side? Can't get much closer.

I go in through the back gate and by GPS if i could walk over the runway that shaves about 4km out of it...

I'm sure it would be okay to cross the runway. Just remember to look left...look right...look up

should be, its not a short trench I have to dig, even if you just turn up for the bbq and to help out with the last minute stuff that'd be great as our aircons have arrived, we need to clean up the back yard in order to get the plasterers in on monday If i get to bed before midnight saturday Im counting that as a lucky break,

    For those coming

if someone happens to have have an empty 6x4 trailer or similar they can drag along that would be helpful as I can forsee having 2 trailers on site being helpful as I'll probabley need one for tip runs and the other for picking up stuff. (beer, bbq for starters )

For those who can turn up TY in advance.
