    Happy Birthday to me!

and my birthday isn't until next month!

just one question to all who have installed the Maxi drive front locker kit...I just noticed when I got home that there is no bling front hub flange like the rear. Can anyone tell me why this is not needed? Is it something that comes with ugraded cv's?

One job that I wil have to do now is to protect the couple of vulnerable wires coming out of the locker mechanism.

    Cheers

And you too mate, will hopefully see you on one of our club trips soon so we can see what this fully loaded rangie of yours can do

Quick question on your shock towers though, are they eye to eye or pin at the top, I can't remember?

    Aye, Mick

    Cheers Mick

Front shocks are still pin type. I am a little worried how the longer shocks is will go - especially the bottom pin. With the 3" spring lift, the lower pin is under a bit of stress at full droop.

Shock towers are 2" lower then standard. They are scorpion brand from Rovacraft in Perth. About $180 a pair I think from memory. The longer bump stops are from Paddock spares in the UK.

The rangie drives so much better now with the 4.11 CW&P. I could finally use 5th gear and do 110km/h down the highway! Plus the drive train feels really tight now. Previously there was a lot of play and I assumed it was backlash from the gearbox, but it must have been the diff preload being slack.

    Cheers
