To me it appears that the driver has not got a clue on how to cope with a failed hill climb.

IF he went back in reverse gear then he was in high box.

The interesting thing is the guy who so stoutly defends his friends driving and slags off Land Rovers admits to 'winning several winch challenges' Also admits to experiencing a multi rollover when a plasma rope failed during winching up a vertical rock climb.

Now I admit I am not winch challenged experience BUT I would have thought that IF you were likely to roll over if a winching operation then you would take extra precautions. i.e. double or triple line, use winch line protectors etc.

    Regards

modesty (and a need to protect those who were driving in ways that had americans grabbing for the non existant jeasus bars in a GS 110) prevents me from making further comment..
