    SE QLD Permit to Traverse

    G'day,

i am new to this forum so apologies in advance if this is old news.

For those in SE QLD the areas that used to require you to apply for a permit to traverse (Mt Mee, Beerwah, etc) are now legally accessible without a permit.

I know this because i just applied for a permit and they rang me back to tell me it wasn't required and that the restricted access signs could be ignored as they would soon be coming down.

Hope this is helpful to anyone living in or visiting this area.

    Cheers.

    Hey Mick,

If your going as a club you still need a GAP (group activity permit) from QPWS/EPA and they also charge $22.90 for the privilege
