Looks like I'll be on my own anyway - kids have their first netball game Sat morning, so my wife is taking them to that, which would screw up getting down to the meeting point by 10 if I waited for them.

    Hi Jeff
    What time does netball finish????
If the guys decide upon a camping area at Dwellingup you could catch us there.
Baden Powell is my favorite, large area, plenty for the tin lids to do(swiming, fishing, terror mountain bike downhill!!!) and it should be fairly quiet this time of the year.AVOID IT LONG WEEKENDS/SUMMER gets packed out.
Others may have other favourite spots.

Not sure yet, as it's their first. I would guess 9-9.30ish, and looking at the map I'm guessing an hours drive? May just come on my own anyway, as it will be the car's first outing after a chunk of work.

Bring the missus and kids.We have a 12yo boy who needs to get away from the laptop.Hey may bring a mate but he plays footy so he may be busy.
We try and encourage families on our outings, met some nice people thru the Landrover and computer!!!!
If your kids have a bmx and you have room there is a wicked downhill run near Baden Powell, the extreme jumps have chicken tracks

Hmm....7 & 9 year old girls, so they'll probably spend the day hiding from the boys!

Have a towbar rack for the mountain bikes, so that's a good idea.

Baden Powel is the no1 site, but usually packed but a quiet time of the year.Nanga mill is my second choice, but happy to go with the flow.
There is a big hillclimb rite next to Baden Powel, challenging, steep, fairly safe, but a good intro to the stuff we do at Harvey for the newbies, great practice both up and down, wouldnt use the hill desent on it .
Studio 54,let us know about the firewood permits/area.I need to sort a permit out too.
