Thread: Show us ya Toolbox.

I love it how you guys say tool box, at last count I was up to 6 tool boxes.

1. 9 drawer plus cabnet at work for all the usuall plus air tools and everything else.
2. plastic one for oxy equipment and welding stuff
3. small chest at home in the shed for old crap tools
4. canterlever in the landrover with as much stuff as possible crammed in.
5. plumbing tools and misc stuff that doesnt go anywhere else like spring compressors etc.
6. press attachments and pullers and puller attachments.


I'll take photo's tomorrow as I have 1 more sticker to put on to do some shameless advertising for my mates shop.

A pair of dual tray cantilever boxes, live in the Landy, with the plastic crate that holds jacks, chocks pumps and assorted gear that won't go in the tool boxes.
In the shed are a set of big cantilever boxes, one Metric, one SAE, and one Whitworth. Then there are the wooden trunks for the Shipwrights tools, and some of the special tools that I have made over the years for industrial machinery, now museum pieces. Still probably got tools for warships now long decommissioned. Converted wardrobes for electrical tools and such. Compressors, drill presses, grinders,welders, the usual farm shed stuff.
My shed is a converted defunct 100 bay piggery shed. BIG bugger of a shed.
Might have to clean up a bit, I'm sure I've got another box of tools somewhere here. There it is, the race tool box. The only one with stickers. K&N, KLG, Shell Fuels etc, Must borrow the Landlords camera one of these days.

Mine are all on the bar fridge, only a few on my toolbox in the shed, My boy has claimed the old one that has some stickers on it.

Father and son,eh Craig? My tool box contains some of my late fathers gear.

I've got a bunch of carry type tool boxes. Most of them have one sticker each on them. That being the Sidchrome or Snap On etc sticker/badge that they came with.

Although a friend of mine has stickers on his esky of all the places it has been to. I think it has about 3 stickers on it

Yep pretty much, may have to engage a father son rule where he can not be in the same shed as his father.
Since he was 2 (now 7) anything I do not nail down or prohibit use of he claims. Quite handy with the tools to. Anytime I do anything he is there, can be a pain at times, but great to see him learning. My daughter is not to bad either.
Half my tools are in his tool boxes.

Yep one of my favourite family shots, is my little girl aged about 2, spanners in hand helping her daddy fix the lawnmower. That little girl is now a mother herself.
