mate thats a top set up you have.
How much are the air lockers each before installation compared to the maxi's each? does that $3000 for both with the air lockers include the cost of the maxi axles or is that just the lockers?
now thats a proper blokes toy.
mate nice rig, you stole my idea of black rims. They make the rig look sweet and mean! mine will soon have all that. Cant wait.
Why should you EVER need to replace 1 filter a month!!! Filters collect dust more efficiently the more they load with dust, so it is better to replace the filter less often. And your $30 LR filter is probably made by donaldson or Mann Filter - so you would be able to get it cheaper from either of those companies.
A filter only works if it is the right one for the housing and is properly sealed - that is not a filter media problem. If the housing doesn't seal properly, then fix it or replace it. I am only talking about media performance here - even cellulose fibre (paper) filters work MUCH better than form or cotton (which most after market filters are made from). And Donaldson holds patents on 90% of other filter media technology, and is already making air filters from polymer and glass media, which outperforms cellulose by a lot.
Sounds like the guys changing filters where you are have NFI, and they are definitely changing them too often.
Anyway - back on topic - nice truck, I am jealous.
hi ya
great rig. tell me where did you find your floor rubber?
i am trying to shut some of the noise from my td5 down & so far the best i've been offered is the auto accoustic matting from clark rubber.
