I have got to agree with that, my brother-in-law has had one of their offroad trailers for years, and has been everywhere with it. He has never had a problem.

I think the main thing that makes Loadstar trailers good trailers is that they are a small company that arent in the business of mass production more building good quality products
trailer how often do you actually use one
cheaper option and less crap in your yard is to hire one when you need it from service station or borrow one from a friend in exchange for slab
l used to be got have one of those in case l need it sort of guys now lm a less crap the better sort of guy
I would actually use one a fair bit, I'm renovating an old house and 2ac block, but I'm still reluctant to pay $1k for one. At least I suppose it would be easy to recoup a lot of it once it was no longer needed.
Trouble is I don't seem to be able to find one to borrow. My FIL has one but it's falling apart and I don't trust it to carry anything heavy like a load of sand.
Use the horsefloat Frenchie:p :p :p

Make one! Axle and springs from Supercheap /Repco, Holden wheels and tyres from the Trading Post or its equivalent, steel from a scrap dealer. Few hours work with cutting and welding gear.
I brought a Loadstar 6 months ago for $1750.
7x4 HD offroad box trailer (Don't go 6x4 if you want to carry building materials). Extra long bar, 16inch rims, swing gate and mounts for tool box on bar as well as spare.
Structurally this has been good, but really too soon to tell. On minor detail stuff I have been less than impressed. Lost most of the paint first week on gravel roads doing a tip run. Floor has caved in between supports carrying household rubbish and the tryes and rims they supplied really were not road worthy. Also jockey wheel is too short to support the trailer on a even level or to reach the ball of my fender.
Given my time again I woul search second hand, even though they are scarse at the moment. To get a new floor welded in and rego leaves alot of room between a cheepo and $1750.
