    Anyone wanna fly to the widebay international airshow?

    G'day all,

    My local aeroclub is organising fly-in's to the widebya international airshow between the 3rd and 5th of August.

    The show is at Bundy and we'll by flying from the Redcliffe Aerodrome. The cost is $350 per person/per day, it's a return flight and includes admission to the airshow. The flight requires 4 passengers to go ahead and my wife and I are looking at going... just wondered if anyone else is interested in joining us?

    Once up there we can head our separate ways and meet back at the plane at a predetermined time.

    Yes you could get to the show cheaper, but not in as much style

    If you're feeling really posh you can always go for a joy ride in a MIG 15 - though it's not cheap... but man what a blast

    I'd love to go to this event, apparently the black Catalina will be there, but.....

    maybe another time.....
