Thanks Hardy!
Blackbox Solutions have allowed for these new software modules to be used with ROVACOM Lite, not just PRO - provided the end user is a private individual / enthusiast, not workshop / commercial operator.
Yay!

I found this on their UK site:
The best news of all is that because the system is specifically designed with low cost in mind to make it affordable enough for DIY mechanics and enthusiasts and considering what ROVACOM LITE offers and the vast savings that can be made using it, ROVACOM LITE is certainly not expensive, with the base hardware costing less than £400 and lifetime licensing of software modules for vehicle systems costing on average around £100. Additional software module licenses can of course be added as and when you wish.
But can't find any Australian pricing. Anone know how much you are up for for the basic kit to read TD5 data?
www.hardrange.com - i.e. Hardy on this site! Looked after me very well when I needed RCL in a hurry.

The Blackbox Site is running a little slow ATM, they're doing quite a few upgrades.
For currency conversion, check over bottom RHS.
For my pricing, probably best to send me an email.
The new D3 / RRS etc stuff is listed already but there's still a bit of work involved - eg new CDs are not ready (v1.18) and for same modules above a new CAN BUS Based OBD II Lead is required.
I just fried my RAID array on main PC - looks like I've lost the lot. Oh the irony. So do not let me anywhere near your Land Rover![]()
Hardy
Thanks for the 2nd link. So looks like a couple of grand to get set up.
BTW - I am right off RAID arrays. I've had 2 go over the last few years and had to rely on my slow old ATA backups to rescue me. Great theory. Not so good when the wheels fall off.
Now I just run "plain" multiple SATA drives, one for boot, one for data and sometimes one more for SQL logs etc. Still quick and you don't lose the lot all in one go.
No problem.
As for RAID I run SATA's with mirroring, RAID 5 and strip set. System drive mirrored, strip set for scratch disk and NAS RAID5.
Two key things: always buy good brand disks and always use power protection (UPS or Line Conditioner)
