    I'm struggleing with that. I really am. That is where these dumb bastards that shoot up schools get their bloody guns. You to can rent a "Tank Killer" for just a lousy ten bucks.

    Actually, in far too many states over there you can walk in and buy what you like after only a basic criminal record check. Some require a 3 day wait for pistols (Is it worth it?) but rifles - including semi-auto assault rifles - you can take away immediately...

    Now, being a licensed shooter in two countries, I'm all for not over-legislating guns for the sake of it, or for political gain, but you must have some level of checking you're not about to make it easier for some would-be psycho or terrorist to get his chosen tools of the trade.

    At least here and in the UK they have a process, a license, restrictions which are in the main sensible (Well, here at least, we'll leave some of the UK's silliness out of it for now!) and some form of wait period while they carry out the checks...had Virginia has either our or the UK's laws, it's highly likely another tragedy would have been avoided.
