First time Ive ever heard of a Disco paying someone to fix it as well.

When the VT Commodore first came out, there were stories of the first ones that Telstra got had some problems when they parked them near the exchanges.

One of the stories I heard was from one of the techs in Mansfield who said he parked it and locked it and wen he came back out it was unlocked and the boot was open.

He had this happen a few times so he took it back to Holden who changed the codes on the central locking as they thought the eletro magnetic field might have been at the same frequency as the central locking.

I dont know how much is true as he is known to embellish stories a bit but then talking to a mates cousin who was on the design team at GMH at the time recons it sounded about right. He said they heard of it happening a bit so in service there was a shield fitted and CL frequencies changed apparently.
