Good lookin dog stevo :) congrats on your new edition to the family
How about Soll short for Solihull
Oh fender looks like a great pick... i bet you're happy and i can't wait for an invite
Steveo, he's a very cute boy and I hope you and the family have lots of fun with him. He won't be Benzy but he'll be special in his own way.
I lost my own GSD, Taury, to cancer at almost 11yrs old a couple of weeks ago. It all happened very suddenly and I've been reading your posts and I can empathise with you. I think it's great that the new pup has come up at this time and he'll be a very special new mate for you all.
Good luck with the name - I wouldn't presume to suggest one but something associated with LandRover seems entirely appropriate.
As a suggestion, let it come naturally, most of you dog owners would know, it takes ages for a dog to get named, the name has to suit the dog,
how many of us have named a dog then changed it. i have a few times, then they get their nicknames and abreviations too,
nice looking pup, doesn't look like a show dog thats good, now the puppy stuff stars, how about taking bets on what it chews first. car wiring or favourite shoes. One of mine had a sock fetish for ages.

G'day all,
Thanks for the comments, we have made it through the first night without drama. I little bit of crying from the pup but overall he was very good. Yep Chuck did come to mind for a name, plus Vom :D, but we are still working on it seeing what fits. Yeah I am kinda keen on a LR type name but the missus aint having it, perhaps in private he can be Fender, Disco or Rangie. D3 sounded crap for a dog name, even though he did chuck up in it. We also thought Rover but doesnt suit, I would have loved to have called him Duke but we called the bloody cat that instead :o .
First thing for chewing has been my thong, which I then have to wrestle back of him. So far so good, will post some "action" pics later ideally of him and the Bengal going toe to toe :) , in ya face cat ;), it has given our other cat a hard time in the past but doesnt know how to deal with a puppy chasing it and not being unnerved by its hisses and growls, and these Bengals really do growl,
Regards
Stevo
dog names should be like how north american indians named their children its what you see first is their name, like running wolf, sea eagle, crazy horse etc.
friend of mine called his english bull terrier english sheep dog cross Chuck for doing exactly what your pup did on his car trip home.
with kudos to Graham Kennedy, well thats' a splendid idea "two dogs ****ing"
Don't worry Steve, the little bloke will find a way to tell you what to call him.
They seem to be able to understand us, a damn sight better than we understand them, I reckon.:p
He look's a little beauty mate.
Shorty.
