We got a saw off EBAY for around $200 brand new with 20'' bar,works great hasn't mist a beat.
Buy an axe-"kelly" if you can find one-and enrol in a Tafe course to learn how to use it. Regular use of an axe will provide you with exercise, lower your cholesterol, increase you fitness, in turn lowering the time it takes you to complete a marathon, not contribute to global warming. axes are easier to maintain, safer, quicker to get started, dont require separate fuel/oil to be carried, wont make your mother in law in the back seat high on petrol fumes, can be used to take the head off of wildlife if your hungry, can be used to put star pickets in the ground, tighten fence wires, cut wires, be used as a shovel to dig for water/witchetty grubs, are quieter, make you a faster spin bowler. There are many other advantages of an axe , however i fully recommend a chainsaw because it should go with your electric winch, sat nav, camping trailer and foldout stove. as an added advantage, having a chainsaw will be useful when the bloke next to you at the caravan park pulls out his 13 inch stihl. you wont look like a weiner.
I bought a 16" Stihl Miniboss (or something) at least 20 years ago and apart from bars and chains never a problem.
Handed it down to my son and he still uses it occassionally but has also got a much bigger saw (mines bigger than yours!!!) which he prefers to use as the trees on his property are that much bigger.
