It's interesting. The defender does hold it's value very well. Sometimes I think the owners can get a bit greedy though.
Having said that I know a guy who just got 10k more than redbook for a Elise. Clearly it does happen.

We eventually had Pickles auctions / valuers put a value on the vehicle, recognising that it had essentially been rebuilt. The specialist insurer was happy with that. As far as the mainstream are concerned is a 10 year vehicle is just that, regardless of what you do to it......Quote:
