Correct me if I'm wrong here (and we all know that it's highly likely I am:p :p )
The $5000 kit from the sponsers link, if we are talking bout the same sponser, includes extended shocks, cranked and rienforced trailing arms, brake lines, bigger springs, bump stops and a variety of other bits and pieces.
Alot more stuff there than what you have listed in your order from Paddocks.
I'm not sure what brand the parts you've ordered are from paddocks, but I belive the parts sold by the sponser are of the highest quality around.
I also second what Loanrangie has said about polybushes. They are rubbish.

Generally being from Paddocks they should be good. I know about import duties and such, but importers also get at wholesale, so there should be nothing like 200% markup. That is just greed. I have got gear out of the UK from a retailer for as low as $45 delivered to my door that would have cost between $200 & $300 in Australia plus freight and was exactly the same product and was not even through Land Rover (so I would hate to see what they would charge). Yes importers need to make their cop but treating people like cash cows is not on. I have had this in the mining industry buying equipment, usually as soon as you mention mining the price doubles. I found a local supplier who is cheaper than large Melbourne / Sydney / Perth based companies that would do 10,000 times the trade he does. But as he said he is making his profit margin, while making a good living and looking after his customers. His customers always come back and refer other people.
