I've heard of great work for chippies, lots of work, great rates, training up a few blokes too, you know basic framing, pretty simple buildings, nothing fancy or highrise. 12 months work if you want it, all tools supplied, maybe $1 000 000 for the year...a few conditions though...
It's in IRAQ!!!!!!!!:D:D:D
HaHaHa.

I'm tempted.
I'm a shift worker - supposedly 7-day rotating shifts but i haven't had a Sunday shift since 3rd March and very little Saturday work. As a result my pay packet is well down on last year.
RailCorp has been recruiting like mad in our field so I'm often sitting around on standby (as are many others). There's no money on base rates with no weekend work.

Think I'll stick with my lot. $60000/yr, fly in fly out, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, $1200 TA/fortnight at work, accomodation supplied (self contained, all amenities). All we supply is food and grog. Has it's drawbacks of course, like living on a tropical holiday island:D and being away from family.
