bunnings has a teeny one for less than $200, wasnt paying much attention at the time I wasnt looking at chainsaws but if your only doing light stuff it should do.

Still, have the 'mini boss' for $499 or somthig like that. Its quite small I think its got a 12" bar. So not big. I've got a wood boss the next one up 16" bar. Cost $650.

    Good luck

home hardware (the one with the dogolog) was selling a similar unit for a similar price, I reccomended one to a bloke in melb who came camping with us once and when he came again he bought it with him for some saw 101. For the short time that we used it it did the job nicely although It needed sharpening after about 30 mins worth of work...

I recommended he take it to a saw shop and get a better chain for it. he forked out $80 for the new chain and hasnt used it since... (included fitting, tensioning and a service)

it also got fitted and the whole saw serviced...

I didnt think that was too bad a price... given the new chain on my cullock cost me $30 and I was quoted $120 to service it...

Its done more than 30 mins work, I had to sharpen the chain after we'd been using it for 30 mins (but we were cutting wet wood).... after sharpening to guess Id say we put 3-4 more hours on it that weekend... who knows what hes used it for since...
