    Stevo,
The letter A is on george downes drive after mangrove mountain and after a petrol station. There is a community fire station and a telstra phonebox, not much else too it. I don't know why its called the letter A.

Its less than an hour to the letter A after you get on the F3 at wahroonga,
why don't you and I head up in convoy.
How about we meet at the Quix petrol station at turramurra at say 7am.
I assume you are coming through sydney so early to miss the traffic??

The forecast is for rain on the central coast on thursday it could be fun!!

    Wattagans

Slightly off the thread, but is there still a really hard track which we used to call "Sawpit" as it was off sawpit road. We used to do it once a year, and most of the time no one else had been there. The entry was overgrown and started with 3 large mud holes which usually required winching through.

If it is still there and you have an appropriate vehicle I would recommend giving it a look.

    There is a sawpit Rd
I think it's closed off, but I'm not to sure. I'll have a look on the maps tonight.

I am interested in the trip depending on work, but may be only as a passenger in dobbos truck - My disco is experiencing some "Technical Difficulties"

If its the same Sawpit Gully I'm thinking of, its impossible. Not even the bikes go down it now. Walked it a few months ago, would need a chainsaw to clear it.

We had an infamous LROC trip there a few years ago now.. no one made it.. a lot of dead cars at the end.. 4.00am finish..

But no doubt theres more than one Sawpit.

    Regards
    Max P
