pleased with my new accessorie :)

this is my new light bar........built by DWE

very pleased with it fits like a glove great finish.

as you can see on the left you can see the wire hanging down the side of the windscreen that is now rapped in black spiral rap and we are hoping to secure it to the rubber groove on the side of the windscreen with stickerflex

its not yet wired up to a switch waiting for that to come through the post but hoping to wire it up to another fog light switch so i know when they are on (as silly as it sounds) but also to keep everything neat and tidy on the dash

well although we never tested in complete darkness we held a peice of wood up next to the bonnet to see where the light would hit

and the light hit the wood about over a foot above the bonnet so i think i will get a small amount of light on the bonnet, but i dont think i will have glare like what your all going to be asking about.......

but at the same time my lights come out quite direct and then spread

the lights i have used are

night stalker mini's you see although i like bling on my car i like it to be as subtle as possible and i realy dont like massive spots...

hence why when i get a bullbar i will have some kc dayligters on them not massive but still a good light

and yes DWE has made one for his defender also go look on his members ride........he was originally making one for me and in the process decided to make one for him self....

i'll try and post a pic of them in the day light so you can see what they look like

Thought they looked small. I'm looking to a wider driving spread for a roof bar on the Defender. I'd only use it during the wet as I need to raise the lighting from the front when it gets covered in mud. I'm looking for practical not bling, but I can understand what you're saying about massive spotlights.
