So I guess you're now desperate to go out on a mud trip?
Guys,
Sadly today i took a turn for the worse and i was bored so i did the unthinkable...........
I polished Grommet........................
I found some slight surface rust from grinding sparks that had landed on the paint, so i started to polish them out, then i thought the panel was uneven, so then i did the whole panel, then the side was uneven, so i polished the whole side, then the bonnet, roof, windscreen frame and the other side was uneven........ So i polished them...
Then i found that removing polish off the flares was not easy as they are not painted flares, so i found some black trim restorer i had laying around. So i applied it to the flares and Snorkle and mirrors and grill and headlight trim and............... you can guess the rest...
I'm ashamed as i have sinned...... this is the 1st time i have ever polished a Defender, Disco's i have done as they are Pretty cars, But a Defender.... NEVER....
PLEASE FORGIVE ME........
So I guess you're now desperate to go out on a mud trip?
The same madness came over me recently but my excuse is that I'm selling it anyway and wanted it to look it's best.
Trouble is it looks so good I don't want to get rid of it now! Help. Tell me not to sell or offer me a price I can't refuse.
Alan.
Well come on! Where are the photos?![]()
You should have started the sliders...
Defenders only have enough paint on them to polish them 3 times
Two lives left![]()
hehehhe...might make it slip through the air better and hence go faster?!?!?!?!!?

Bat and bird poo comes off easier and polish will also make your 'fender water resistant![]()

It'll glow in the dark and scare the bejesus out of pootrols 'n' Toymotas.
Lesser mortals will visit your vehicle as a shrine.
However, this shiny problem can be easily solved, by a good run thru a long boghole - but take a strap so you can pull out the lesser mortals... then again..... leave them there, probably why they're called 'the great unwashed'....

Steve,
You got too much time on your hands. That's the problem.
