Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Pirate is known for Hardcore driving and cars.
Most of those guys have been round they board for years and drive trucks that are extremely modified.
Nothing they say should be taken to heart - they probably like the truck but in their eyes it is not as hardcore as what they do.
PS - I love this truck to! I would love a 90one day.
Cheers
Dave.
Me love this truck as well.
After watching a few American offroad trips on DVD / Foxtel etc...
I have to say.. Hardcore they dont do... Drive like w@nkers they definately do...
Lets see 40's and lockers + 510 crate motor...
Floor it...
Wow!!! I got through.....
Yeah - Like that takes skill![]()
Those over there don't have such nice manners as people here...
I saw that a while ago and thought that I'd not say anything. I guess you have to keep in mind that they operate at a significantly different level to 99% of hard core wheelers. They take the truck, cut it to pieces, refabricate everything and build it to be seriously used/abused with reliability. They're not hacks also, many of them are extremely techically savvy and know their stuff despite the way they may come across. A comparison that I have heard, is that general forums are like 4x4 prep school, Outerlimits is like 4x4 senior school, and Pirate is like 4x4 University. All of this said, Discowhites 90 rocks!

Mate! I never said their hacks...
But lets compare apples and apples....
How many of the yank vehicles would be legal in Oz
And reliabilitycheck their videos... those trek guys often spend time with their welders etc fixing on the trail...
Only responsible groups I've ever seen in yankee land are the Rover Boys.
They define hard core as a space frame... We define it as 'border line road legal'
They define remote wheeling as 100 miles from a town
Its easy to smash around a truck when helps 2 hours away at worst!
The strangest thing is, there is actually one American smart enough to spell articulation, yet they democratically voted in GW to run the country.
